"I feel good about all of them. I feel good about all of them. Some I didn't, and they're not our jurors. So, that's all I can ask for, that I feel good. It just takes one bad feeling, and I think, 'God is my life in this person's hands?' And I don't feel that way today," Read said outside the Dedham courthouse. Day seven of jury selection ended with three new jurors seated. Eight men and seven women have been seated. No one dropped out or was removed. Fifty-eight people showed up to court.

The court is aiming to choose 16 jurors. Read walked out of Norfolk County Superior Court in the afternoon with a smile on her face. "We don't want to overcorrect for anything we thought we might have done wrong the first time," Read said. Ninety-two potential jurors were in the courtroom at the start of proceedings. They answered a list of questions that asked for their opinions about law enforcement and their media habits.

INDIANAPOLIS — Prices are going up for wedding gowns and prom dresses, and boutiques say it's all because of tariffs. Prices on some dresses are up at least 20%. Anita Serachyk of Infusion Boutique in Warwick, Rhode Island said she's been getting a lot of emails from companies that make the wedding dresses she sells in her store. "I'm sure it will decrease sales overall," Serachyk said. Earlier this month, the Trump administration implemented a 20% tariff on imports from China.

(WJAR) — Tuesday marks what is supposed to be the last hearing before Karen Read's second murder trial begins next week. The Bristol County woman is accused of backing into her Boston police officer boyfriend and leaving him to die. Karen Read's defense team wants the trial pushed back, but jury selection is still scheduled to start next week. Experts say with so much interest in the case it could be a challenge. In Tuesday's hearing, a number of motions are expected to be discussed.
