AFTERLOVE is Mirza Radonjica‘s passion project. The SIAMESE vocalist created a mini-album of songs that were done in almost a single take each, and full of ideas and raw energy. SPLIT vocalist Benjamin Jeppesen began his musical career as a teenager in New York City. By joining the band THE DEAD ARE LIVING as a guitarist, he honed his guitar skills. He also shared stages with bands such as I SEE STARS and EYES SET TO KILL by the age of 14. His early exposure to the music scene fuelled a lifelong passion for hardcore music. In 2024, SPLIT formed.

AMBER PACIFIC have returned with their first new album in eleven years. The pop-punk band from Washington formed in 2002, and became one of the defining names in the mid-2000s rock scene thanks to their 2005 debut album The Possibility and the Promise. The album saw them mixing with the likes of YELLOWCARD and THE ACADEMY IS…, and their 2007 follow-up Truth In Sincerity reached 64 in the Billboard Top 200, cementing the band’s popularity.

DEAD AIR‘s latest EP, Elements follows on from their 2022 debut EP City Sins. After the video for their song Teeth Grinder went viral, racking up over 600 thousand views, all eyes were on DEAD AIR. The trio – vocalist and bassist Reuben Moonasar, drummer Richard Greenbury, and guitarist Lyle Salvatore – are known for their energetic live shows and have played at Isle of White Festival and Decolonise Festival, and have been supported by radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Planet Rock.

Even before CALL ME AMOUR formed, their individual resumes were impressive to say the least. Individually, the band have played in venues such as Brixton Academy, festivals such as Download Festival, and even performed in the West End musical Wicked, alongside touring with the likes of PAPA ROACH and LIMP BIZKIT.

“This EP is all about cults,” FIXATION vocalist Jonas W Hansen explains. “It’s also about the psychological effects cults have on people, and speaking in tongues is this phenomenon that is very strange and interesting. We had a demo for the last album called Speak In Tongues, which is what we ended up calling our EP.”Speak In Tongues was supposed to be a four track EP that was put out in between the Norwegian metalcore band’s debut album, More Subtle Than Death, and their upcoming sophomore album.

Anyone can become disabled at any point in their life. That’s a fact, and yet it’s never spoken about. Some people are born with a disability, and therefore don’t know any different. Others acquire a disability throughout their life. Some people might have multiple disabilities, whereas others might just have one. Regardless of this, society dictates that disabled people should be seen as ‘inspirational’, ‘brave’ or ‘a warrior’.
