    Later this week, MPs will meet to debate the Assisted Dying Bill for the first time since it passed its first stage in Parliament last year. In the months since that historic vote, several changes both large and small have been made to the bill introduced by Labour MP Kim Leadbeater. However, the most important fact remains: it would give terminally ill people in England and Wales the right to choose to end their life.

    If a speeding driver got caught out breaking the limit once, it stands to reason they would drop their speed to avoid being caught out a second time. But this repeat offender can probably excused for being caught twice in the same location - considering it probably has no understanding of speed limits in the first place. A speed camera in Köniz in central Switzerland automatically snapped a radar image of a speeder travelling at 52kph (32mph) in a 30kph (18mph) zone.

    A major burst water main has sent thousands of gallons of water flying 100ft into the air. The huge jet of water was shooting from a pipe in Matson, Gloucester, after the water pipe burst earlier today. One nearby house was completely battered by the huge stream of water, while nearby Sneedhams Road was flooded by the deluge. Local water company Severn Trent managed to turn the water main off at about 2pm - leading to a large round of applause from nosy neighbours watching them work.
