The US Border Patrol announced Sunday that the San Diego migrant processing center has been "dismantled," citing a massive decrease in illegal crossings since President Trump reentered the White House in January. According to the federal agency, the average daily arrests in the San Diego Sector for the month of March decreased by 186 percent compared to the year prior. As a result, the 1,000-person taxpayer-funded facility is no longer needed, the agency said.

German authorities responded to a brutal stabbing attack on Friday at the city of Hamburg's main train station. At least 12 people sustained injuries in the bloody incident. Several of the victims are in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, local media reported. A suspect has been taken into custody, police said. The incident occurred around 6 pm local time at Hamburg's Central Station, one of the busiest public transport stations in the nation.

A Missouri emergency management chief has been placed on leave after tornado warning sirens failed to be activated during last week's severe weather incident that resulted in the deaths of five people. Sarah Russell, commissioner of the City Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) in St. Louis, was not at the CEMA building to activate the alert system when the National Weather Service indicated that a tornado had touched down.

Qatari journalist Abdallah Alamadi praised the man accused of killing two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, and called for mass attacks targeting Israeli Embassies in Arab countries in the wake of the suspect's actions. Alamadi, a columnist for the Qatari government daily Al-Sharq, made the threatening remarks in a now-deleted post on X. In the post, Alamadi included a photo of the alleged cold-blooded killer, Elias Rodriguez, with an attached report of the killings.
