Chocolate prices have soared since the beginning of the year, and it's predicted to get worse. Some supermarkets are demanding as much as £6 for a large bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk, with consumers being cautioned to "prepare to pay more". The price hike is rooted in a disappointing cocoa harvest last December, causing the global cost of cocoa to reach a "record-breaking" $12,900 per tonne.
