A Garda is recovering after being hit by an e-bike. He was treated in hospital after a hit-and-run in Blanchardstown on Friday afternoon - and has since been discharged. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at Porterstown Park, after Gardaí responded to reports of a disturbance. They want to speak to the male driver and passenger of the e-bike, who failed to remain at the scene.

Gardaí say the motorcyclist, injured in the crash that killed a garda last month, has died. The man in his 30s was rushed to hospital in a serious condition following the crash in Swords in Dublin on Sunday the 11th of May. He died from his injuries yesterday evening. Kevin Flatley, who was killed while carrying out speed checkpoint at the time, became the 90th garda to die in the line duty. Gardaí say Family Liaison Officers are providing support to both families involved.

A man in his 30s was found dead outside a Garda station in the city centre yesterday morning. The man's body was discovered outside Store Street Garda Station while officers were "conducting welfare checks". In a statement, Gardaí say he was pronounced dead at the scene and foul play is not suspected. His body has been removed to the mortuary, the Coroner has been notified, and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.

An explosive device was disarmed in the city early this morning. Gardaí attended a home in Glenties Park in Finglas, and called in the Defence Forces. The Army EOD team declared the device safe and it has been removed from the scene for analysis. The Irish Mirror reports the explosive had been delivered to the house by a drone.
