It’s been a while since we properly caught up with mama of two Joyce Lee. We first interviewed the style-savvy Brooklynite in 2018 when she was the head of design at Madewell and pregnant with her second child. In the seven years that have passed, her two kiddos (Poppy, 10, and Kai, 6) are now way beyond the preschool and nursery phase (in fact, they’ve settled into proper bunkbeds). Meanwhile, Joyce has pivoted from a full-time role to design and creative consultancy work.
