Scientists have identified a fossilized jawbone found off Taiwan's coast as belonging to a Denisovan man. Researchers confirmed the ancient human's identity by analyzing protein fragments in teeth attached to the jaw. This discovery marks the third confirmed location where Denisovans lived, spanning diverse environments across Asia.
