Fire crews are on the scene of a large fire that re-ignited on Drake Drive off Cedargrove Circle in Cheektowaga. Our photographer at the scene tells us everyone was able to get out safely, and crews were first called to Drake Drive around 11:30pm. They put out the fire which later re-ignited, calling them back to the scene. Cedargrove Circle is closed while crews put out the fire.

Tops is offering shoppers a free turkey if they spend a certain amount in-stores. If you shop at Tops and spend $100 on groceries in one shopping order (through 11/16) you will get a $10 coupon at checkout. You can redeem that coupon the following week (11/17 - 11/23/24) for a free Thanksgiving turkey or other grocery items.

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Christina Boyd can often be found tucking little notes and gifts in stores across Western New York. The Town of Tonawanda mom performs what she calls "random acts of kindness" in honor of her late son, Ollie. "Things like this can make someone's day," she explained. Boyd lost 20-month-old Ollie unexpectedly in February of 2023. "Not something any parent ever thinks is going to be the path their life takes," she said.

This morning: We're starting to see areas lift their travel bans after crews worked overnight to clear the roads. Take care as you're heading out today - there's still a lot of snow - and some really high drifts!

The Travel Ban has been lifted in the Towns of Hamburg and Evans, including the Villages of Hamburg, Blasdell and Angola, as of 6 AM. The Travel Ban will be lifted in the Town and Village of Orchard Park as of 7 AM.
