    UPDATE: City officials are saying that, since there was a drop in pressure, a precautionary boil water advisory is now in effect. According to the city, water service was restored Monday at approximately 6 p.m. and a water sample was taken less then two hours later at 7:40 p.m. The boil water advisory is in effect for New Street , South of Smith Street, and the entirety of Allen Street for at least 48 hours, or until the City of Clio receives the results from a second bacteria sample.
