1. IntroductionPigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) is a rare disease with an estimated incidence of 1.8 per million population. The knee and hip joints are the common sites of involvement. Fewer cases of spinal involvement have been reported and there are numerous uncertainties regarding radiographic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment [1]-[7]. Spinal PVNS presents in the epidural space and frequently compresses neural elements, resulting in axial pain and neurological dysfunction.
