The NBA's longest tenured coach is stepping down. The San Antonio Spurs confirmed on Friday, May 2, that Gregg Popovich is fully transitioning to President of Basketball Operations and will no longer be the head coach of the Silver & Black after 29 seasons. "While my love and passion for the game remain, I’ve decided it’s time to step away as head coach," Popovich said in a news release.

GTA 6 will officially launch in 2026. May 26, 2026, to be precise. Rockstar made the announcement about the delay on Friday, May 2, through a blogpost on their website. “We are very sorry that this is later than you expected. The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and your patience as we work to finish the game,” developers said in the blog post.
Roads to avoid during Fiesta Battle of Flowers, Flambeau parades

Fiesta rages on in its second week, and that includes its iconic parades. The City of San Antonio is adding additional road closures around downtown to accommodate the incredibly popular Battle of Flowers and Flambeau parades, which are following the same route as last year. The parades will begin at the intersection of N. Main Street and E. Locust streets next to San Antonio College and follow the roadway down to Lexington, where the parade will cross under Interstate 35 to N. St. Mary's Street.

Crash causes traffic jam on I-10, Loop 410 in San Antonio

Multiple wrecks are causing backups on major San Antonio highways during rush hour on Wednesday, April 30. According to Transguide, there are two accidents impacting the westbound lanes of Loop 410 near the I-10 interchange. TxDOT shows the two accidents were reported at 4:43 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. respectively. A crash at I-10 at Loop 410 interchange is blocking two main lanes and the shoulder, according to Transguide.

A San Antonio man was charged with manslaughter after law enforcement says he was doing more than double the speed limit when he hit and killed a 71-year-old woman on the Far Westside last week. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office shared more details about the deadly crash in Alamo Ranch on Wednesday, April 23. BCSO said in the update the driver accused of causing the crash is identified as 20-year-old Richard Gonzales.
