Coulam, a Utah native, purchased 35 acres of land that "was little more than the gravel pit" in 1974 and is now home to the massive Texas Renaissance Festival, according to a 1999 profile published by Texas Monthly. He tried establishing a renaissance festival in Utah with little success, and moved the business to Minnesota in 1969 where it stayed for five years. Updates came to the festival through the years.

The bill, if passed in its current form, includes the massive cuts to federal Medicaid and SNAP spending, provisions for the "No Tax on Tips" push, tax cuts for individuals and businesses. A San Antonio golf club is asking for the public's help finding two people who stole thousands of dollars worth of clubs after a round this week. The local business shared photos of the people accused of stealing the rented set of golf clubs. According to Alamo City Golf Trail, a man who identified himself as Zander Garcia, accompanied by a woman, rented the golf clubs while at the Riverside Golf Course on Tuesday, May 20.
