The church around the world was started by a single man named Jesus, though certainly He is no ordinary man! His forerunner, John the Baptist, was single. The Apostle Paul, author by the Holy Spirit of at least 13 letters to churches in our New Testament, was also single. And yet, a single person coming to a typical church today might be thought to be somehow incomplete, like half a cookie. You might be introduced to eligible persons of the opposite sex while you are served a slice of pie.

Litchfield almost doubled its population on Tuesday when the city hosted its inaugural Parade of Bands. Community health centers (CHCs) provide essential prenatal, birth, postpartum, and family planning care for the nation’s most underserved communities. By mission and by law, CHCs must provide women’s health services to medically underserved areas and populations, including to low-income families, rural families, and those living in maternity care deserts. In 2022, CHCs served approximately 8 million women of reproductive age, or about one of eight women ages 15 to 44.
