Procedural steps taken to align TAVI valve commissures away from the coronary ostial have been described with improved rates of successful coronary reaccess after TAVI compared to no commissural alignment. Tang et al. found no effects on coronary commissure alignment when BEVs were crimped in predefined orientation before the deployment.19 The same group described how commissural alignment could be achieved with the SESAV to improve coronary reaccess.
