The FBI is warning Americans to replace outdated Internet routers immediately, as cybercriminals are hijacking them to install malware and commit crimes through users’ home and business networks without their knowledge, the agency announced. In the new alert, federal agents said criminals are targeting “end of life” routers — older models no longer supported by manufacturers with security updates — and infecting them with a variant of TheMoon malware.

Former One Direction band member Liam Payne’s ex-partner, Cheryl Tweedy, has been named co-administrator of his $32 million estate, Rolling Stone reported. Payne, 31, who was found dead in October after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, did not have a will, Rolling Stone also reported. Tweedy, the mother of their son Bear, is named in court documents along with music attorney Richard Mark Bray as administrators of Payne’s estate, People Magazine reported.

Ohio has landed at number 38 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 ranking of the best states in America, a placement that raises important questions about how the Buckeye State is performing — and where it’s falling short. While the state, which ranked 36 out of the 50 states in 2024, remains a historic and economic machine in a lot of ways, the data tells a complicated story. According to the report, Ohio’s strongest performance came in the category of “Opportunity,” where it ranked 17th overall.
