You learn pretty much everything you need to know about Brian Johnson, the self-styled Liver King, in the first two minutes of this Netflix documentary. Johnson, with his long beard and hyper-muscular physique that looks uncomfortable to inhabit, is filming a skit involving his goons dressed as various forms of food. After interrogating them all, he forces the one in a soda can outfit to run, wherein he fires his exceedingly large gun at him and causes an explosion.

This latest movie, a direct sequel to 2009’s The Final Destination (the fourth movie — try and keep up), sees a woman try to keep her family alive after Death comes to collect his debts. We know what to expect from this series and that is wild and unexpected deaths.

Goodbye Thunderbolts*, hello The New Avengers. Changing your movie’s title after one week of release seems like a silly move to me, especially since the latest Marvel joint was doing solidly with audiences and critics alike. Did the big spoiler have to be revealed to get more butts into seats? It ended up feeling like Disney had no hope in its newest film despite evidence to the contrary. Well, it didn’t hurt the movie’s box office standings but it didn’t give them a massive boost either.

The bad movie canon has a few undisputed classics, the universally panned “so bad they’re good” titles that fill out midnight screenings and keep internet riffers busy for generations. Competition for the all-time worst film is tough, and there are great arguments for many of the classics, like Reefer Madness, Manos: The Hands of Fate, and Mac and Me. But a clear frontrunner is the iconic atrocity that is Battlefield Earth.
