Year 5 of completing a comprehensive list of my 100 favorite tracks from the past calendar year. For the past 5 years doing this, I’ve used a scale based on intervals of .25 stars/points from 0 to 5 to organize my songs. The number itself doesn’t matter as much as how I feel about the song/album at the end of the year, but it helps me to organize things. I’m going to try a different scale for this year, going by a scale of .5 to 10 ( 8.5, 9.0, 9.5 so on).
