Missouri might only have two early commitments in its 2026 football recruiting class, but the Tigers are in hot pursuit of a couple major quarterback targets. Among them is Warrington (Pa.) La Salle College four-star passer Gavin Sidwar, who was originally supposed to visit the Tigers in March but had to cancel due to weather issues.

North Carolina sophomore offensive tackle Zach Rice plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reports. Rice played three seasons for the Tar Heels. During his career, he has appeared in 20 games with most of his reps coming on special teams. He has two years of eligibility remaining. As a recruit, he was the No. 21 overall prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The nation’s top basketball recruit in the 2026 class, SF Tyran Stokes, will take an official visit to Kansas this weekend, according to On3’s Joe Tipton. The Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame star has already taken an official visit to Louisville last fall, but has recently been rumored as a potential reclassification candidate. Stokes recently announced that he would not be playing on the AAU circuit this summer, furthering speculation that he could possibly move up to the Class of 2025.

Montverde Academy (Fla.) four-star shooting guard Dante Allen has committed to Miami, according to On3’s Joe Tipton. The 6-foot-3 scorer is a native of the city and recently backed off his pledge to Villanova following the dismissal of head coach Kyle Neptune. The hometown Hurricanes quickly emerged as a contender under new coach Jai Lucas and now have the first high school commitment of his tenure.
