Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios just greenlit an adult animated series based on Mister Miracle, the critically acclaimed, brain-melting comic series from Tom King and Mitch Gerads. Even better? King is being brought in to showrun the series — with a few Mother Boxes and Omega Beams thrown in for good measure.

It’s been well documented on this site that I’m not much of a gamer. It’s is also well documented that I am a huge and unabashed Pearl Jam fan. Those two facts about me collided during last night’s viewing of the most recent episode of The Last of Us on HBO. Though I am a non-gamer, I knew enough about the broad strokes of The Last of Us without knowing too much about the details of the story. Needless to say, I’ve been properly shocked by some of this season’s twists and turns.

Five years ago in the before times, my Secret Identities partner-in-crime Jerry Ma exhibited a solo art show called A Chinatown Odyssey about a modern interpretation of The Monkey King and his adventures throughout New York’s Chinatown. Well, for this AAPI Heritage Month, Jerry and the Monkey King are back at Pearl River Mart, but this time he’s brought along some legendary comics artist pals for the ride.

By the power of Grayskull, we have the first official look at Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man in a teaser image from Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming live action Masters of the Universe adaptation, due in theaters next year. Though we don’t see his face, He-Man’s iconic Power Sword is front and center, as is Galitzine’s bulked up physique and cartoon-inspired costume.
