The universe has a sick sense of humor. It’s one of those things that I always suspected, but am now certain of. First, we made it past Jan. 6 this year without incident. Hooray, I guess. Four years ago, Jan. 6, 2021, you might recall, was when the MAGA hordes descended on the U.S. Capitol at the invitation of the about-to-be-former president of the United States, who simply could not accept the fact that he had lost to a more qualified candidate.
