Review by Tim RobinsSPOILERS AHEAD“Lucky Day” was a difficult watch and hard to enjoy. Doctor Who has been many things, but I don’t think it has ever been this mean spirited. By this, I do not mean it was a bad piece of television drama. This being Doctor Who, the drama managed to span genres, moving from an intimate relationship drama to folkloric horror, to a Die Hard style action adventure. The clever and audacious script wrong-footed me at every turn, but for me it went a step too far.
