Wine marketing is a curious beast. One moment, you’re sipping an obscure rosé on a boat with industry insiders; the next, that same rosé is on every restaurant wine list in the country. In this episode of After School: The Wine Podcast, we dive into the marketing machine behind wine trends—with a glass of Provence rosé in hand, of course. Today’s featured wine is the Minuty “M” Rosé from the Côte de Provence.

Podcasts didn’t exist until the mid-2000s, but it didn’t take long for wine lovers to find their way to the mic. As soon as audio content became easy to distribute, wine podcasts started popping up. What began as a niche side project for passionate drinkers and a few insiders has since become one of the most dynamic formats for wine education, conversation, and storytelling. Podcasting officially kicked off in 2004 when iPodder made it possible to download audio files directly to MP3 players.
