    A Lagos hotelier, Otunba Kunle Akinyele, slumped and died during his wife’s 60th birthday thanksgiving service held on Saturday in Lagos. The incident was shared in a Facebook post by digital creator, Ayoade Ojeniyi, who stated that the man had gestured for help before collapsing.     The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Plateau State yesterday, Sunday, April 20, 2025, intercepted a man in possession of a firearm at a church premises in Bokkos Local Government Area. A report by security expert Zagazola Makama said that that the incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m., when operatives of the NSCDC, acting on intelligence, apprehended the suspect during a routine security patrol around a church compound, reports News Express.
