Leftover ham may be my favorite part of the traditional Easter feast (much like leftover cornbread dressing is hands down my favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner). Depending on the type of ham, leftovers are safe to eat for four to seven days after opening, meaning the ham you cook Sunday -- assuming it was not a fresh ham -- will be good for most of the following week.
