MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) — Mobile County Public Schools are now better equipped to stay alert during severe weather thanks to new NOAA weather radios. The Mobile County Emergency Management Agency distributed those radios to school leaders today. It's part of the EMA's commitment to community safety. The new weather radios will help protect nearly 60-thousand students in 102 schools across Mobile County Public Schools and Mobile County City Schools in Chickasaw, Saraland and Satsuma.

NBC 15's Kelly Foster introduces us to a Mobile woman who was treated at the Breast Center at Infirmary Cancer Care this past year. Mobile resident Patricia Alexander is fit, takes nice care of herself and goes in for yearly checkups with her doctor.
