    More naloxone vending machines added in Denver People in Denver now have more access to naloxone, the medicine that reverses an opioid overdose. The Denver Police Department and nonprofit The Naloxone Project installed three vending machines that provide the lifesaving drug for free. "It's really as simple as just opening the door, grabbing a kit, and giving someone a second chance at life," said Joshua Jacoves, Program Director at The Naloxone Project.

    A teenage driver was taken into custody early Tuesday morning after an early morning pursuit with Arvada police. It happened just before 4 a.m. when an Arvada police officer saw a silver sedan speeding southbound on Wadsworth Avenue near 68th Avenue. That officer said the car was obviously going above the 45 mph speed limit.

    At a spry 101 years of age, Howard Berger exudes pure joy. "I'll be going on 102 if I make it to November 12," he said with a smile. He's also a true American hero. "I did my best," Berger said. It's been more than eight decades since he served with the U.S. Army in World War II, yet he remembers it all as clear as day. "We were in a forest, and we saw a German spotter plane," Berger recalled. "The Germans shelled our area… and the bombs would hit trees, and splinters would go all over.
