We’ve had a few glimpses at what Konami has been cooking in terms of the latest Silent Hill instalment, and while things look wholly different to that of the Silent Hill 2 Remake (or even the original Silent Hill 2), there’s no denying that the upcoming game looks promising. On top of that, a release date was finally revealed: September 25, 2025.

Wylder is Elden Ring Nightreign’s first Nightfarer, and someone you’ll play during the game’s tutorial. Armed with a grappling hook, an explosive ultimate, and an affinity for Greatswords, he’s ideal for those who love to swing big swords at foes and watch their HP bar melt away. The versatile Nightfarer is also among one of the best, given that his passive ability allows him to cheat death a single time.

Elden Ring Nightreign currently has eight different Nightlords for you to throw yourself against, some of them being much more troubling opponents than others. One of the harder Nightlords to face in Nightreign is the Equilibrious Beast – also known as Libra, Creature of Night – who is a Madness-inducing (both literally and metaphorically) boss that uses brutal Physical attacks and Incantations to prevent you from attacking.

There are eight formidable Nightlords for you to come up against at the end of your Expeditions in Elden Ring Nightreign, and some of them pose more of a threat than others, including Gaping Jaws (also known as Adel, Baron of Night). Compared to three-headed wolf, Tricephalos, Gaping Jaws is another story entirely as he clumsily crashes around the arena and tries to eat you with his sizeable jaws.

I’ve been playing a lot of Elden Ring Nightreign… and I mean a lot. At the time of writing, I’ve ploughed around 70 hours into chaotic Expeditions and touching Remembrance quests, experimenting with what each Nightfarer is capable of and getting to know the Nightlords all too well. Still, this has nothing on how much time I’ve spent playing Elden Ring. Both solo and via Seamless Co-op, I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into The Lands Between.
