The Left is coming after President Trump for hosting a children’s Easter Egg Roll. You really can’t make this stuff up. To them, this was tone deaf. Why? Because, per their logic, the high cost of eggs should have prohibited the White House from continuing this nearly 150-year-old tradition. America First starts with a simple common-sense principle: only American citizens can vote in American elections. Non-citizen voting is a real threat. We have seen cases in past elections of people who are not eligible to vote due to lack of citizenship, who actually vote. The problem is now compounded due to the policies of the last four years, where open southern borders led to millions of unvetted illegal immigrants pouring across the border.

Recently, reports emerged that Olivier Grondeau, a French citizen, had been liberated from captivity in Iran, having endured nearly half of a five-year sentence levied on him by the Iranian regime ’s-controlled judiciary. While Grondeau's release is a welcome event in its own right, it casts light on a persistent and troubling pattern of hostage-taking by the clerical regime. This practice shows no signs of abating or nearing a genuine resolution.

When I was growing up in Ohio in the 1960s, there was no such thing as a private teenage world. My friends and I all knew each other’s parents, and we were held accountable for our speech and our behavior by a network of moms and dads who knew one another. While local communities were knit more closely together back then, things are very different in America today.
