EBL sent us their rugged EBL Portable Power Station 500. We used it on a quick night photography trip and around the house, and reported back. Note: EBL sent us the EBL Portable Power Station 500. Flexible power output options (AC, DC, USB, car charger), and is capable of charging up to ten devices simultaneously. You can charge it from an AC wall outlet, solar panels, or a car outlet.

Night photographers have used this technique for many decades. I set my camera on a tripod.

Where should you focus your camera when photographing star trails? The answer might surprise you!Like with other forms of night photography, it’s easy to get excited about what is happening in the night sky and forget about composition. But composition is still king. It’s important to have a strong subject. Whether your subject is a building, car, trees, mountains, a forest, waterfall, or something else, it’s best to have a strong subject.
