One of the biggest names on the Union College men’s hockey team has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Rising senior goalie Kyle Chauvette, who was named to the All-ECAC Hockey Third Team this past season, put his name into the portal on Wednesday. There will be a family reunion on the Union College men’s hockey team next season. Rising sophomore goaltender Cameron Korpi, who entered the NCAA transfer portal after playing one season at Michigan, will join his brother, rising senior forward Carter Korpi, on the Garnet Chargers in 2025-26. Union head coach Josh Hauge said in a telephone interview that Cameron Korpi has signed his commitment letter to the college. kAm“xE’D 2?

The Siena men’s basketball team announced Tuesday that Rotterdam native Riley Mulvey will join the Saints for the 2025-26 season. Mulvey is transferring from Iowa after spending four seasons with the Hawkeyes under former Siena head coach Fran McCaffery. McCaffery was fired by Iowa at the end of the season. Mulvey has one year of eligibility left. “We are really excited about Riley joining our program,” Siena head coach Gerry McNamara said in a press release.
