I started going over and compiling data back early in the fall and here are my thoughts for the upcoming winter months ( December , January and February ) in East Tennessee. (WATE) — With tens of thousands of music fans descending on Manchester, Tennessee for the annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Coffee County will more than double in population by Thursday afternoon when most campers are inside the festival grounds. (WATE) — A black bear was caught on camera roaming around Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg late Monday night. Ken Weathers, with News 2’s sister station WATE, spotted the bear on a weather camera. The bear could be seen walking across the plaza at Ripley’s.
