LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — According to the U.S Census data, 38,000 people called La Vergne home in 2020. Now, the city has 42,000 residents, with Mayor Jason Cole only expecting that number to grow. As people continue to choose La Vergne, more and more businesses are opening in the city. On Wednesday, May 28, Chipotle opened its doors. Meanwhile, an Aldi grocery store opened just a month ago. These are just two examples of the many stores setting up shop in the area.
