    Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) were two of the most popular characters on AMC’s The Walking Dead for years, so when the original show ended, it only made sense to spin them off into their own thing. The result: The Walking Dead: Dead City. Season 1 ran for 6 episodes in 2023 and was popular enough to get a second season greenlit. I watched Season 1 and enjoyed it, as much as I enjoyed the Daryl Dixon spinoff. What can I say? I’m a Walking Dead fan for life. Until death?

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. Ryan Coogler wrote and directed the film and plays the twi leads.

Carpenter’s star was unveiled in the midst of a “who’s who” of Carpenter co-stars and collaborators along with a legion of fans.
