TikTok, the popular video-sharing platform, is rolling out its Research API software across Europe, with an eye on the new EU Digital Services Act (DSA) due to come into effect in August. It appears that the European Union's antitrust regulations have taken center stage yet again, as regulators have extended their deadline for a decision on Amazon's controversial $1.7 billion acquisition of robot vacuum maker iRobot. The European Commission pushed back the deadline for its decision on the deal from November 15th to December 13th in response to a request from Amazon and iRobot.
