Losing a child!Their first born, Bronny James survived a cardiac arrest during a morning basketball practice at USC’s Galen center on July 24th. “Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest,” a James family spokesperson said in a statement. “Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.

City of Inglewood Recreation Supervisor Anthony Harris meticulously announced each player on each team scheduled for the T-Ball and Coach Pitch baseball team for the Dodgers Dreamteam Spring League at Darby Park during the opening ceremonies held April 15 on Jackie Robinson Day. The league is funded by the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation through a grant to the City of Inglewood and has more than 200 players participating on 16 teams.

The Clippers did their part during Financial Literacy Month, by hosting 600 students in two sessions at the Inglewood downtown land mark The Miracle Theatre on April 4. Former Fairfax High and NBA standout was also in attendance for the event which engaged students on a myriad of topics including checking, savings accounts, living withing your means and the value of money.

All Star Games set for Saturday April 15The 23rd annual Collision All Star Basketball Games will return to a high school gymnasium for the first time since 2017 and only the 8th time in the history of the event when perennial Los Angeles City Section power Westchester plays host on April 15, 2023. High schools that have been honored to host Collision include Long Beach Poly, Los Angeles Fremont, Gardena Serra, Ocean View, Inglewood and Narbonne six years ago.
