“Saturday Night Live” was back on the air with a new episode last night in its first show after its 50th anniversary special. Shane Gillis was the host and Tate McRae performed. The show opened with a satirical look at the Oval Office meeting on Friday with President Trump, Vice President Vance, and Ukrainian President Zelenksy. Mike Myers made a cameo as Elon Musk in the skit. See it below, and other clips from last night’s episode:

On Thursday, yet another flashpoint happened in the debate over whether companies should take a political stance on hot button issues like the war between Israel and Hamas. The state of North Carolina barred investment in Ben & Jerry’s, the famous ice cream company from Vermont, in response to that company’s decision to stop selling its products in Israeli settlements.

A storm expected to arrive this afternoon and continue into Monday is set to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and possible coastal and river flooding. Some locations in central Massachusetts could see 4 inches of rain. Eastern Massachusetts may get 2 to 3 inches. Areas in Connecticut and extending into southern Mass. may see up to 6 inches.

Pete Davidson opened last night’s “SNL” on a somber note as he spoke about the ongoing fighting in Israel and Gaza“I know what you’re thinking,” he said " ‘Who better to comment on it than Pete Davidson?’ Well, in a lot of ways I am a good person to talk about it, because when I was 7 years old, my dad was killed in a terrorist attack.”Davidson’s father was a firefighter who died in Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in New York City.

Flash flood warnings and watches are in many locations in Massachusetts on Monday evening. Areas around Leominster and Fitchburg were hit especially hard with portions of Route 2 under water. See photos and video belowPSA!! Avoid rt 2 near leominster/ fitchburg at rt12. Its flooded. Eastbound isnt getting by at all. Not sure how much longer westbound will be able to get by!
