Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong brought their charisma and high vibes to Austin with the World Premiere of a documentary of their story of meeting each other and rising to fame. Cheech & Chong's Last Movie was part of the Documentary Spotlight Screening Section of the SXSW Film & TV portion of the festival. Director David Bushell and Chong's ex-wife, Maxine Sneed, also attended the event for the Q&A after the film.

Maron has released five hit stand-up comedy specials throughout his career including his most recent, From Bleak to Dark, which premiered on HBO February 11, 2023.
