In his first ever NBA Playoff game Ty Jerome came off the bench to score 28 points and lead the Cavaliers to a 121-100 victory over the Heat in Game #1 of the best-of-7 first round series. Jerome hit 10 of 15 shots overall, 5 of 8 from three-point range to spark the Cavs to the 21 point win. Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 30 points and his backcourt partner Darius Garland added 27. Jarrett Allen posted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the “Wine and Gold”.

It was the Cavs 12th consecutive win and helped them become the first team in the NBA this year to clinch a playoff spot.
