This year, one Kentucky native is looking to go back-to-back for the win. McPeek owned the weekend of Derby 150, pulling off the Oaks Derby double. "Amazing. It's weird because I went into the races and I told my wife, I said, 'I think we can win both races.' I fully expected her to win," McPeek said.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It's pretty clear entering The 151st Kentucky Derby, all eyes are on Journalism. The thoroughbred is on assignment at Churchill Downs. "This is what we're here for, right? You always dream of having a horse of this caliber," trainer Michael McCarthy said. The three-year-old is McCarthy's second-ever Derby starter. LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The road is now set for the University of Louisville (UofL) football team when it comes to next season. Some of the highlights include the Cards playing at Notre Dame on Sept. 28. Then on Oct. 5, they'll host SMU, who is new to the ACC. The game at Boston College on Oct. 25 is a Friday night game, and it's the only midweek game this season. That following week the Cards will be at Clemson.
