My cup was overflowing the past two weeks. There were some great moments (hosting a casual dinner party and moderating book events for Keren and Neha, celebrating a friend’s birthday over our favorite French onion soup and sparkling wine, celebrating the world festival at the boys’ school with sticker rangoli).

It’s 3 pm on Friday afternoon. Despite my mad dash across 30th Street Station following my panel, I missed my train back to New York. My new train will board in about 30 minutes, and I’m trying to decide if I cram the rest of my work during the ride or zone out to Real Housewives of Orange County instead.
