1 Introduction Childhood is a period of development where children undergo profound physical, cognitive and emotional changes (Likhar, Baghel, and Patil 2022). From preschool age to early adolescence, many children who exhibit temperamental problems such as irritability and impulsivity often mature into well-adjusted individuals (Zarrella et al. 2017). However, this developmental trajectory is not universal (Moffitt 2017; Nagin, Farrington, and Moffitt 1995).
