This is a hard post to write because I think Governor Glenn Youngkin has been a pretty good governor overall. They always go too far. The radical left saw widespread acceptance of gay rights - which nearly everyone embraces - as a chance to try to push THEIR agenda: Grooming the children. Let’s just call this a win-win situation. Four Democrat members of the House of Representatives flew down to El Salvador to shake their tiny fists and demand the release of their favorite Maryland man, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Best of all, at least one member of the delegation, Rep. Maxine Dexter of Oregon, has vowed not to return to the United States until the man with the MS-13 gang tattoo is released.

If you needed one more reason to toss your copy of the local newspaper directly into the recycling bin on Sunday, there was this: “Region Rises Up”? Seriously? Another case of an excitable weekend headline writer sacrificing accuracy for alliteration. The Hampton Roads Region has a population of about 1.7 million. If a couple of thousand of sore losers gathered with hand-lettered protest signs in Norfolk on a sunny Saturday, that hardly merits such a sweeping headline.
