X Agrees to Stop Processing EU Data to Train its Grok AIIreland’s Data Protection Commission (“DPC”) recently filed an urgent High Court application against X (formerly Twitter) for using the personal data of European Union users to train Grok—a generative AI chatbot owned by xAI, a company founded by X owner Elon Musk. The proceedings have now been concluded with X agreeing not to train Grok using personal data contained in the public posts of X’s EU users.
