Since then, the project has yet to move forward, and recent reports have even claimed that Blade has been axed entirely.     Since its beginning, Lanterns has billed itself as a mystery series similar to True Detective. Speaking with THR, Lanterns director James Hawes believes those comparisons are valid, but adds that the Green Lantern series will have a little more humour. “Talking tone, it looks and feels rooted. You meet two guys, but there is wit and comedy to it that you would not expect in True Detective,” Hawes said.

The project is still inching forward, but reports that it’s headed to a new home. Amazon MGM Studios’ United Artists is in final negotiations to acquire the Highlander remake from Lionsgate.

    Alicia Silverstone is set to return as Cher Horowitz in a Clueless sequel series currently in development at Peacock. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl) are attached to write alongside Jordan Weiss (Dollface). All three will executive produce the project alongside Silverstone. Original writer/director Amy Heckerling is also attached as an executive producer.

    Several weeks ago, it was reported that the second season of Prime Video’s Citadel series would be delayed and that the various spinoffs would be put on hold. has a new update, and it seems that those spinoffs are being scrapped entirely. Well, not entirely. According to Amazon MGM Studios’ head of TV Vernon Sanders, storylines from what would have been the second seasons of Italy’s Citadel: Diana and India’s Citadel: Honey Bunny will be woven into the new season of Citadel.
