Morning sunshine gives way to more clouds later in the day

Sunshine will dominate our Thursday weather for much of the day. Clouds will start to move in late this afternoon and thicken up into the evening, ahead of some scattered rain overnight. Afternoon highs are expected to rise into the low to mid 60s south and 50s north. Overnight lows will be mild, due to a stiff southerly wind. We'll only dip into the upper 40s to low 50s. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely Friday.
Expect lots of sunshine today with cooler than normal temperatures

After a raw Tuesday, today will be a whole lot better. Morning clouds will decrease, leaving us with lots of sunshine. However, even with all that sun, temperatures will remain below normal, in the upper 40s to low 50s. That's due to a northwest wind that will get a bit breezy at times. We'll clear out with lows in the upper 20s as our wind goes light and variable. Look for milder low to mid 60s south and upper 50s north on Thursday, with some clouds later in the day.

Today will feel like winter with highs in the mid to upper 30s, even with some sunshine, especially to start the day. A stiff northwest wind will give us wind chill values in the teens this morning and 20s this afternoon. Keep in mind 53 is normal for this time of year. Look for chilly low 20s overnight, with increasing cloudiness on Wednesday. A few late day showers are possible with highs in the low to mid 40s. Rain and snow showers are likely Thursday with colder upper 30s to around 40 degrees.
Winter weather returns to start the week

It will feel more like winter to start the week. Look for snow showers to fly around starting late this morning and lasting into the evening hours. Temperatures will reach their highs around noon, in the upper 30s, and then fall from there. Wind chill values will hold in the 20s. Overnight, will be very cold, with lows in the low 20s, about 10 degrees below normal. Tuesday will be a raw day. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds with high in the mid 30s, well below our normal of 53 this time of year.

Friday will be a quiet and dry day until late in the evening. We'll start off with a lot of sunshine, before clouds start to stream in the afternoon, ahead of a weak weather system. Afternoon highs top out in the low to mid 50s, with colder 40s by the water, with a light easterly breeze. Showers return late Friday night and last into Saturday morning, with clouds and a few sprinkles the rest of the day. Look for slightly cooler upper 40s to low 50s.
Very windy weather with mild temperatures are expected today

Wednesday's storms weren't as fierce as Sunday, due to a lot of clouds, rain and storms earlier in the day. We did pick up a lot of rain, nearly 2" in Flint, and over an inch in Saginaw. Dry weather returns today with slightly above normal temperatures. We already hit our high of the day in the upper 50s to low 60s. We'll settle back into the mid to upper 50s this afternoon, with some decrease in cloud cover. Look for mostly cloudy conditions overnight with lows in the mid to upper 30s.
