Needed rain on Halloween has been replaced with a mainly dry weekend. As fall color reaches its peak, temperatures Saturday will top out in the mid to upper 60s under a partly to mostly sunny sky. Don’t forget to set your clock back Saturday night, early Sunday morning (2 a.m.) as we end Daylight Saving Time. Skies will be mainly clear with lows in the 40s. A warm front approaches Sunday, but with minimal moisture available there’s only a low chance of rain at 30%.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Snow showers and flurries exit the region this morning, leaving behind partly cloudy skies. Clouds increase throughout the afternoon as highs max out in the teens. Expect wind chills to remain near zero for most of the day. Clouds hold on tonight as temperatures fall into the single digits. Mild temperatures linger into the weekend. While clouds may dominate at times the threat for rain is minimal. If we see any precipitation it looks like Saturday night and early Sunday would hold the best opportunity. Temperatures both days will be in the mid to upper 50s. It looks to be a decent weekend to get the outdoor holiday décor up if that’s something you’ve been planning. Early next week temperatures cool back into the lower 50s and upper 40s for highs.
