Southern Indiana will enjoy a welcome break in the weather following recent severe storms. Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny and pleasant, with no rain in the forecast and afternoon highs reaching the upper 70s. This calm and comfortable weather will offer a good opportunity for outdoor plans after a turbulent end to the workweek. On Sunday, a weak weather system passing to the southwest may bring a slight chance of rain, but most areas should remain dry.

Don’t forget to set your clock back Saturday night, early Sunday morning (2 a.m.) as we end Daylight Saving Time. Skies will be mainly clear with lows in the 40s. A warm front approaches Sunday, but with minimal moisture available there’s only a low chance of rain at 30%.

Mild temperatures will take the headlines for the Easter Weekend! If you’re planning that Easter Egg hunt this weekend, you can expect highs in the low to mid-70s for Saturday and Sunday. Those are some chocolate-melting temperatures. The weekend also comes with scattered storm chances, but I wouldn’t cancel my plans. A mix of sun and clouds can be expected with only minor rain chances Saturday.
