I’m glad that Imanol will get the chance to have a proper send-off at Real Sociedad. Winning the Copa del Rey was an enormous achievement, and there have been big European moments too. This season has been disappointing, but he’ll leave on his terms with his head held high.

Both Lukas Hradecky and Patrik Schick have just admitted that the #Bundesliga title race is pretty much over. Leverkusen eight points behind Bayern with just four games left, and Bayern’s GD means they are one win from the title.

Maresca really doesn’t help himself in these situations. #cfc have spent an enormous amount of money on players, and he makes out that they are overachieving. It’s disingenuous, and it’s a slap in the face for supporters.

RB Leipzig were pretty dreadful against Holstein Kiel today. First half was abysmal, outplayed by the league’s bottom team. Second half wasn’t much better, but they were gifted a penalty out of nothing. Major changes needed in the squad and in the dugout. Kiel were excellent.

I dearly hope Ancelotti gets the sendoff he deserves. A true Real Madrid legend (and legend of Milan, to be fair). Will have a knock-on effect, and Leverkusen face an enormous decision if Xabi Alonso’s alchemy is no longer available.
