    George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic are getting ready to bring the funk to the masses on a spring tour of the U.S. Beginning on April 25th, the tour will focus on California before jumping to the East Coast in May and heading into the Midwest. That means you can hear longtime P-Funk member Lige Curry dish out hits like “Give Up the Funk,” “(Not Just) Knee Deep,” “Flash Light,” and many more. However, the funk bass master will also fit a run of his own tour dates into the fold.

    Singer-songwriter Paul Simon’s touring career seemed to have come to an end in 2018 when he wrapped up a tour called “Homeward Bound – The Farewell Tour.” He would release the album Seven Psalms in 2023 but declined to tour due to accelerated hearing loss. Thankfully, he’s come to adjust to it and has announced a new tour called “The Quiet Celebration.” “Simon, who has been dealing with severe hearing loss, has chosen intimate venues with optimal acoustics for this tour,” his website explains.

    Eastwood Guitars is continuing its collaboration with bass hero Peter Hook. Since their first work together in 2019, the company has released a few models with the Joy Division/New Order bassist, and now they’re adding new colors to the Hooky Viking PRO model. The full-scale, semi-acoustic four-string bass was launched last year in Dark Cherry and Black finishes. Eastwood’s 2025 lineup will also include the axe in Goldtop and 3-Tone Sunburst versions. Each colorway is limited to 18 pieces.

    For the first time in 24 years, Pulp has announced an album. The Britpop icons will release More on June 6th with the lead single “Spike Island” out now. Frontman Jarvis Cocker released a statement on the album’s creation during their 2023 reunion. “When we started touring again in 2023, we practiced a new song called ‘Hymn of the North’ during soundchecks and eventually played it at the end of our second night at Sheffield Arena,” he wrote.
