This week, the judge presiding over the case denied, for the third time, a Krause motion to dismiss. At the same time, Missanelli’s lawyer is looking to depose Krause following a failed motion for sanctions after the judge censured Krause for using Google and artificial intelligence in his legal research.

Here’s a fantastic story from Abraham Gutman at the Inquirer:When Victor Fiorillo isn’t writing for Philadelphia Magazine, he plays keyboard for a band led by a drag performer. That was enough for one Delco man to label the journalist as a pedophile in Facebook comments. Ryan Nelson commented on a January post by Fiorillo in the Citizens of Delco public Facebook group, in which the reporter shared his article about a racial discrimination lawsuit against a country club restaurant.

I know we’ve got a lot of parents reading the site these days, probably because the Millennial demographic that started with Crossing Broad 15 years ago simply aged into the “exhausted 40-year-old with children” bracket. So if you’re like me, you’re probably taking your kids to swimming and baseball, soccer and dance lessons. It’s really opened the door for what I find to be a fascinating sociological study on how parents behave at these functions.

The Sixers lost their 12th game in a row on Monday night, falling to the Miami Heat by a final score of 117 to 105. Quentin Grimes and Lonnie Walker led the way with 29 points each, but the tanking gods would not be denied as they extended their black tendrils to constrict the local basketball team and it keep it in the bottom five of the NBA standings. With the Brooklyn Nets winning two of their last four, finally some separation in what has been a fierce tank-off for positioning.
