根據英國海洋保育組織「衝浪者反污水」(Surfers Against Sewage)日前所釋出年度報告，包括可口可樂、麥當勞和百事可樂在內等 12 家大企業，是造成英國環境污染最為嚴重的元兇。在蒐集到的垃圾中，約有 7 成是來自這些公司所製造的產品。 「製造最多垃圾的企業」榜單公布，可口可樂蟬聯 4 年 《衛報》（The Guardian）提到，該組織的 4000 名義工與科學家在過去一年來，蒐集超過逾 3 萬樣從海岸線、運河、小徑與城市街道撿到的各種垃圾，發現垃圾總量前 12 名的企業，就生產了超過 70% 的垃圾量。 儘管可口可樂過去幾年致力於降低塑膠垃圾，2022 年中還為飲料瓶開發了無法從瓶身脫落的瓶蓋，但依然連續 4 年成為英國最大的垃圾污染來源，約佔垃圾總量的 17%。排名第二的速食業霸主麥當勞則占污染垃圾的 11%，第三名為百事可樂的 9%。儘管三家業者加總的污染量，比去年小降 2% 左右，但總和仍然是驚人的 37%。 其他著名的污染大戶還包括 Oreo 和 Ritz 餅乾製造商 Mondelez International、啤酒製造商 AB...
